The title race is hotting up. Nobody seems to want to win it at the moment. Yesterday saw Arsenal draw at home to Sunderland, a poor result you might think, but Sunderland are yet to be beaten in the capital this season. Wenger said that he was disgusted about the game and rightly so. Arshevin was brought down by the ticking time bomb Bramble and had a goal disallowed for being offside when he wasn't. I like Arsenal, they play great football, but need a striker for when Van Persie is out. They lack the killer finish when he is missing.
Then today, Liverpool beat Man Utd 3-1 at Scamfield. Carragher should have been sent and yet all the attention is on Nani and Rafael for Utd. Rafael got a bit of justice for his team mate as the Ref was incapable of manning the game. I'm not having a go at Liverpool, they have had some bad decisions against them this season. The standard of referee's in the prem is nothing short of a joke.
I can now hear you all cry that it is only because Man Utd lost that I am saying this, well it isn't. I'm stating a stone cold fact. In the Fulham Vs Blackburn game yesterday, what was that idiot in black doing for 90 mins? He missed a clear cut Penalty on Johnson, then felt guilty and gave one from the resulting corner when nothing happened.
In mid week, Chelsea get a Penalty that was so soft, almost as soft as the one Utd got against Liverpool in the F.A Cup. So what is the solution to all this? Well, as the Ref's are proving that on the spot they make terrible decisions, go along the lines of the UEFA Cup, and get an official behind each goal, but give him the responsibility of awarding penalties. Allow each side 2 replays per game on dubious decisions by dodgy ref's, a bit like they have in Tennis. Sepp Blatter said it would slow the game down, but we all know that we can get T.V replays within about about 5 seconds, so the 4th Official could be sat by a monitor and instantly call it.
Also what is it all about when you cannot criticize a Ref? I'm sorry but these imbeciles, with their shocking decisions can cost any club. Be it Promotion, Relegation, Cups or the Title. The game is a wash with money, so these bad calls should not be happening.
MOTD is a great program, when ITV had it for a while it was terrible and The BBC know how to do it a lot better. BUT, Alan Hansen, Alan Shearer and Mark what ever his face is, are dull, boring, stupid, patronising twats. Take Hansen for example...
Here is an ex player from the 80's, who thinks people are interested in everything he says. It's the same old story week after week. The same old comments week after week. The guy is so out of touch with today's game and it shows. "Terrible defending", or "Shocking defending", is guaranteed to come out of his mouth at least once a show. As is the new saying for MOTD, "Bad day at the office". Keep showing the highlights and cut the crap out in between.
Gary Lineker "Alan talk us through this goal"
Alan Hansen "Well Gary, what is the defender doing"
and then I switch off for about 4 minutes, normally make a cuppa tea, before the next highlights start.
Why do we need some idiot talking us through a goal? If I was blind, I wouldn't be watching, and as I can see, I can see exactly how he scored, he either bloody kicked or headed the ball past a squirming keeper. Job done move on please.
MOTD, is in danger of becoming a bore, not because of the football, but the F***ing idiots presenting it. BBC lose these clowns before it's too late.
Football Supporters.
The last piece of the post is about Football supporters. Not the usual, normal, sane type, but the Neanderthals that live, breath and worship everything about the club. The ones who will go down the pub with their other sad supporter type mates and sit for 3 hours talking about their club. Except it's not their club is it?
You can always spot them, he is the one with a replica shirt on with a players name on the back and he's about 30 years old. Replica shirts are for kids, any older than 16 and you look a twat. What makes it worst is if they have their own name on the back, how stupidly deluded are you?
That's not all. They love football and the club they support to the bone. They cry if the lose, sing if the win, get angry if it's a derby game. Hate someone if they don't support the same club. I get it all the time from Liverpool supporters, they are so passionate about it that I feel sorry for them. They are so sad, NOTHING else matters to these morons apart from football. Fact for you here, mad, crazy football supporters, that worship their team are 76% more likely to be unmarried and not just that but SINGLE, with no life other than a Saturday when they go on the terraces and sing like some ASBO choir. They love the players to the extent that it's scary.
I will see you all soon
